Every thought is one transaction: the
sensory channel it was fed and the exact
neurons that spiked are in the event, and the whole
membrane-potential field is read from the contract - never modelled here. This is a
real brain on chain: 169,088 neurons of the BANC v888
connectome running as
a sealed integer
LIF network across 85 memory-tape contracts on
Arc mainnet.
Its
sensory neurons take charge, its
potentials decay toward rest, and a
spike crosses real synapses - chain state that reacts, transaction by transaction,
to every feed.
The brain also keeps the chain's time: every Arc block makes a set of neurons
blink in the view. The block's hash decides which ones and its transactions
decide how many, so a busy block is a wave and an idle one is a ripple. Arc mines a
block roughly every half second - watch the specimen breathe at that rate, and
the block number in the corner beat with each one.
